Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to general questions concerning sales, payment and shipping. If you have questions on specific instruments, please email or call us.
Q: How do I order an instrument? A: First, call us to be sure the instrument is still available. Digital photos are available at no charge. A Layaway Plan is available and voids the approval period. A deposit of 25% of the purchase price holds an instrument for thirty (30) days. A deposit of 50% of the purchase price holds an instrument for sixty (60) days. After that, the balance is due or the deposit is forfeited.
We accept money orders, cashiers checks, certified checks, most major credit cards, Western Union, or bank transfers. Please instruct our bank that any bank charges are to be paid by you, the customer. Outside the US, send US dollars on a US bank or bank wire transfer.
We ship via FedEx anywhere in the Free World. The customer pays all shipping, insurance, and bank charges. All international shipments are sent fully insured and any insurance claims are the responsibility of the customer. No exceptions.
Q: Can I return an instrument purchased from Andy's? A: Upon receipt, if you are not satisfied with your instrument, notify us within 24 hours (no exceptions), and we will refund your money as soon as the merchandise is returned to ANDYSGUITARS.com in the same condition it was sent to you. It must be packed in the same carton with the same packing material to be eligible for refund. The customer must fax Andy's a legible copy of the return shipping document clearly showing the declared value, or the item will be refused and sent back to you. The customer pays all shipping, insurance and any bank charges for any returned merchandise.
The 24 hour approval period applies only to New and Used instruments, amps, unless otherwise agreed upon by ANDYSGUITARS.com.
All of our amps, effects, parts, etc. are checked by our tech and these sales are final. No exceptions.
Q: What condition is the case in? A: As long as there are no holes, all the hinges work, and the latches are working it's in EX condition. Don't forget, it's a case! It's job is to protect the guitar from scuff marks, worn edges, etc. It's a case!
Q: Does Andy's accept trades? A: Yes, but please remember, we can't give you retail value for it.
Q: What forms of payment do you take? A: Credit cards, money orders, cash, and bank wire transfers.
Q: What's the condition of the instrument? A: We advertise our instruments' conditions, but its always best to call and get a verbal description in detail.
Q: Is the instrument all original? A: If it's not, we tell you!
Q: How do you ship? A: We ship FedEx ground anywhere in the U.S. FedEx air (recommended on high dollar items).
